Dysport
Repetitive motion of muscles of facial expression cause wrinkles to form with time. These wrinkles can be corrected by weakening the muscles. Prescription injectables that our surgeons may use to weaken specific muscles of the forehead, between the eyebrows, or around the eyes to temporarily weaken them. These products may also be used to treat excessive sweating, a condition known as “hyperhidrosis”.
Restylane
Plastic Surgery of Westchester is pleased to offer an array of facial fillers and injectables, including Restylane®, Restylane Silk® and Restylane Lyft®. These hyaluronic acid fillers are a non-surgical option to temporarily correct wrinkles and fine lines associated with aging. At times, they can also be used to fill in defects seen in certain medical conditions or after trauma. Most patients benefit from fillers to enhance the appearance of their lips, restore volume of their cheeks, and correct loss of volume underneath the lower eyes. Fillers have also been used to improve the signs of aging on backs of hands. Hyaluronic acid, or HA, is naturally found in our body and when injected it incorporates and is slowly absorbed. Therefore, results are long lasting, but not permanent. You and your surgeon will discuss your specific areas of concern.

Dr. Nicole Nemeth

Dr. Nemeth is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Biology / Neuroscience. She then received her doctor of medicine degree from the University of South Florida where she was awarded the Joseph Collin’s Foundation scholarship for academic excellence. Dr. Nemeth trained at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston during which time she studied facial aesthetic surgery with Dr. James Stuzin in Miami. Dr. Nemeth has also completed the prestigious Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship at the number one-ranked M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Since moving to New York City in 2008, she has held a clinical faculty position at Jacobi Medical Center and teaches plastic surgery residents in the Albert Einstein / Montefiore Medical Center program.
Dr. Vadim Pisarenko

Dr. Vadim Pisarenko is a dual Board Certified plastic and general surgeon in Westchester, NY who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body. Dr. Pisarenko graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota majoring in genetics and cell biology and received his Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota as well. His post doctoral training included a General Surgery residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and continued at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center in their Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency. Dr. Pisarenko regularly attends numerous medical seminars. He is a member of many professional societies at the local, state, and national levels.
Dr. Ross Ratner

Dr. Ross Ratner is a dual Board Certified plastic and general surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body. Dr. Ratner is a native New Yorker who graduated Magna Cum Laude from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. He then went on to receive his Medical Doctorate degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Ratner’s post-doctoral training included a General Surgery Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine followed by additional training in their prestigious Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency.

Our surgeons have hospital privileges at Montefiore Medical Center, Jacobi Medical Center, Westchester Medical Center, Montefiore New Rochelle and New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital. They also perform procedures in their fully accredited operating room in Harrison, NY.

We maintain an AAAASF accredited surgical suite, equipped like a hospital operating room with the privacy and ease of an office setting, offering full general anesthesia for more complex procedures as well as sedation and local anesthesia for other procedures. We enjoy a strong relationship with some of the finest hospitals in the area, offering overnight and extended post-operative stays if medically advisable. This is ideal for our out of town patients, those with little post-operative help, or those desiring a more private recovery. We can also arrange your stay at a variety of hotels within minutes of our facility and arrange an overnight “sitter” if desired.
